Cancer Sucks!!!

While I was away on Vacation a friend of mine's ex-husband(got that) was diagnosed with Colon and Liver Cancer. When they did the surgery they removed over 100 Polyps only 2 were cancerous. They also found 2 spots on his Liver. When he went back they told him the cancer was in stage 4 and 15 % survival rate. He lives for his boys 6th grade and freshmen. He hasn't been able to start chemo yet because his incision hasn't completely healed from surgery, and he is trying to get some more opinions. Today there was a benefit for him and we went to it. I had not seen him since mid-June and holy moly the changes. I am just going to keep praying to God for a miracle and healing, If you pray please do the same. As the kids' were off playing(all 4 of them) and the adults talked. The place was packed. Cancer Sucks.

Our Weekend!

This weekend is jam packed. Today we are going to a benefit for a friend who is battling stage 4 Colon and Liver Cancer. Then tomorrow is Church and dinner with friends for my birthday, while the boys' go to a school skating party.

The boys' have been in school for a week and a half. They love it. The Big One is in 5 th grade but is taking 6th grade math. His teacher said she would put him in 8th grade reading if she could. He is also doing soccer which is kicking his butt, band, then basketball, and track. Heard there is going to be a chess Club so that too.

The Small one' is in 1st and loves and he is so cute in his uniform. Just trying to get him to do homework has been a little bit of a pain, but we have been so busy too.

The Big One' is already dealing with girl issues' geez louis'. He has had a girlfriend for almost 5 years next month. she is in 8th grade and I love her. Now a week and half into school and he was told that this other girl likes him and he says he thinks he likes her too. Oh my its already starting.

I have been working on vacation posts of our month long vacation. I have also been busy this weekend as its the last weekend before school starts woohooo. oh and addicted to Sorority Life on facebook.

I'm hoping to be back

I am really going to try this time I promise. I have been reading about Blogher and would love to go. Right not me and the snots at watching BB 11. Hopefully tomorrow I will get to our month long vacation that was AWESOME!!!!

Enough said. I cannot wait until it is thursday I am planning a movie night because of how busy we have been.

Very, Very, Very Busy

I have been very very busy and I hope it ends soon. I am working on 4 quilts that need to be done by end of school. Ok just 2 of them by end of school. so they are taking up all my time. Yesterday alone I made 32 Rice Krispie eggs, 24 Easter eggs, 2 trips to wal-mart, helped finish 2 Science Fair Projects( one still needs some work), and went to church last night.

Today we have to run to my mom's and then go to a all-day birthday party,Who does that?

Tomorrow is Easter which means, I have to play at both services and then family easter at my mom's. Urg

Once things calm down I will hopefully be able to post more.

Really busy week!! and extra teeth.

This week was spring break. like tradition I didn't have my kids but other people kids, so it goes when you have a home daycare lol. The Kids I had this year were good, so I didn't break down like last year. My kids finally came home today. We worked on there Science Fair Project, hope to get them finished this week. Next weekend we will work on putting them together on the board and the 15th is the fair. The Big One got half of his main part done and he is going to finish the other part after church. The Small One got all the main part done.

The Small has lost another tooth and is waskind of funny. I was finishing up something and he said mom, can you pull my tooth out. I said in a sec and he said oh, its out. Lots of blood to follow lol. Talking about teeth, they both had dentist appts. monday. Wooohooo no cavaites. But we did find out some interesting news about The Small one. He has an extra tooth. The kid does nothing normal. The extra tooth is above the tooth he lost tonight. So another baby tooth will come in then an adult. Looking at his teeth tonight, I have no idea how the teeth are going to fit. I am pretty sure braces are in the poor kids future, more sooner then later i'm thinking.
