Five Question Friday (Saturday Version)

Since yesterday I was emotionally spent I forgot about five Question Friday by Mama M. So here they are my Five Question Friday answers on Saturday.

1. Would you ever vacation alone?

Heck ya. Lol I have been to work conferances alone I consider those mini Vacas.

2. Do you go the speed limit?

Most of the time. I have a lead foot that has gotten me in trouble a time or 2. Like the time in Wy where the cop said I was going over 100 I don't think so but I got a ticket anyway.

3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs?

Not sure how it got started. I started reading because of some friends that had kids' and I liked it. now I follow way to many but I'm in January hope to catch up by the end of Feb. lol.

4. Where do you shop for yourself?

Walmart becuase I'm losing lot of weight I don't want to spend a lot of money. Before I would shop at Torrids. Can justify that now I won't be wearing the clothes that long.

5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding...or...what song would you like your first dance to be to?

Don't know That is 1 part I have not dreamed about lol. I want to get married but not make a big deal out of it. The thing is if I ever get married it will be a big deal. lol.

I got in a big fight with my best friend yesterday. We both said some things we regret but we also worked things ok. This past week has been so draining, i'm glad its over. Between guys, kids' and BF's.

I like 2 guys and could possibly love 1 or both of them. 1 is available and a pain in my rear for the last 10 years. The other is not available and keeps playing games, just told him I was done. I tried to help him and got accused of stuff that was not my fault. Told him when we was or if he ever is ready to call me.

On Tuesday I got the aid position in 1st grade to find out its not a paid position, WTF. I had been told time and time again that they did not want 2 people from the same church in the same room as teacher/aid. Fine so why did they hire BF her and teacher go to same church. This were said but we talked them out. I was upset for reason I think I can be upset about and BF didn't know what they were and thought I was jealous and being childish. Once we talked them out she agreed that my feeling were valid. I am up at the school from 730 to 530-600 almost everyday and none of it I get paid for. I love doing and I'm not going to stop, but being paid a little even if its helped with tution would be nice. I also told her I love her she is my 1 BF that I can tell anything and everything,too. She said I had been a crappy friend. Which part is true. She we joined 3 schools the amount of friends I have made has become crazy lol. I like it but I don't know how to balance it all. I am glad we were able to work things out. I do love her.

The Big One and I have been fighting most of the week. I hate it, makes me feel like a bad parent. This coming Thursday marks the 10th anni. of his fathers death and the following Tuesday he will be 11. I hate the first couple weeks of Feb. So this week is The Big One and I weekend. The Small One is at grandmas. We are going to go to the movies and then come home and hang out.

I think on wednesday I am going to take my computer in to get fixed and get another small laptop to hold me over. I am going to go get ready to go to the movies. I think The Big One is getting ready to finally wake up, lol.

Bed time with the boys'

sleep with the kids' is hit and miss. The Small One goes to sleep pretty easy. The Big One, not so much. He has always been like me. A night Owl. A friend had told me today that 1 thing she took from her mom was she never gave them a bed time. It made them responsible for getting sleep. The Big One loves school and would die if he ever fell asleep or something. So i am trying it tonight and guess what. The Small One is asleep but didn't get to sleep until after ten and The Big One still awake. They didn't even notice until about 10 or so that I wasn't telling them to go to sleep and The Big One was freaking out, but not for long since he is still awake. He would say why aren't you making us go to sleep and I would say do you wanna? he said I wanna watch another ghost Adventure and then he would go to sleep. It ended about a half hour ago. I am heading to bed. Have to work tomorrow.

Sorry this doesn't make much since I'm falling asleep.

Neighbors!!!

Update: They are still parking there and I agree I will knock on the door every morning with a smile the thing is it doesn't seem to be bothering them. i just watched about a half hour ago the white truck was not home when we got home earlier. It came back and parked and then some went and got the SUV and put it where it has been. I did find out why they have been parking there. the husband almost passed away this past weekend and they are having people stay in case he does for support and they don't want to park on the street. I understand but come on there are cars all up and down the street. Its still frustrating.

All the sudden my neighbors have gotten rude. Grrr. We share a driveway. It makes a Y with their side and my side. I know for years and years they did not have to share but I have lived here for a year and half, so why all the sudden hogging the driveway. They have a big SUV that fit perfectly into their spot with no room behind. And my little Escort fits and could possibly have another car behind.

Saturday this big extended cab truck its the first car in their spot and they are parked right behind it in part of our shared spot. Now granted on most Sundays we don't leave until the afternoon because our church is right across the street, but yesterday The Small One had to sing at another church for school. I rang the bell at 825 for them to move their car. They did and waited until I was out then put the SUV back so when I came back I couldn't pull into my spot. They did it again this morning and I will keep ringing the bell at 710,715 every morning until they get the idea.

I think it has to do with the dog complain and that just makes them stupid.

I can't do this anymore!!!!!!!!!!

Being a single parent. I can't and really I don't want to. I have been a single parent for almost 11 years. I can't. He's a pre-teen and moody. I'm so done. All we do is fight. and all I do is yell. Since 10 this morning except for 3 hour I have been cleaning. Putting chrismtas crap away and cleaning up since I was sick this past week. All I get is my tummy hurts, i'm tired. can't we finish later. and if I say something like when we get home we will such and such and we don't I get yelled at. I'm done.

Five Question Friday!!

I thought this looked like fun and hope to be able to remember to do it every week. Mama M. post 5 fun questions for us bloggers to answers. So here it goes. lol

1. What is better, growing old with out money or dying young and wealthy?

I would have to say growing old with out money. I am a big believer in money isn't everything. I hardly every have money but i'm very happy.

2. Who takes out the garbage at your house?

NOT ME. The Big One takes out the trash and The Small One takes out the Recycling.

3. Have you ever had the same dream many times?

I don't think I have the same dream over and over but I don't dream about the same context. I am always afraid something is going to happen to the Boys' and I wouldn't be able to help them.

4. Can you play a musical instrument?

I was a band nerd in High School. I played the Clarinet. The Big One plays and when he started I tried it having not played in eons and could still play.

5. If you owned your own store, what would you sell?

I have thought about this over and over. I would open a Bra store and call it BRA WORLD. I have ALWAYS been big chested and hate it because I can never find cute bras to wear. I get nude, black and white. SO BORING. so yep I would open a store that carried all sizes and all kinds of Bras. this could still happen one day but right now i'm in childcare.

Crappy day!!

It started crappy, got better then crap and more crap. I would explain but I can't keep my eyes open and that's a bad thing since Grey's Anatomy is on. GRRR.

A flipping Dog Complaint!!!

Due to allegics we do not own any pets. We have Zhu Zhu Pets. So why in the world did I get a dog complaint from animal control. The complaints were failure to remove animal waste from public or private land(yea because of my neighbors), your animal was reported to be running at large, your animal was reported to be a public nuisance, we have no record of your animal having a current city pet registration(yea because I don't have one), we have no record of your animal having a current rabies vaccination(again because I don't have one).

So I called Animal Control and let them know that I have in no way shape or form have an animal. they took my name and address in case someone complains again. Then I complained about my neighbors dog. They let it out and it barks at all hours of the night. Drives me crazy.

do you think I did the right thing about complaining about thier dog.

On the Radio This Morning!

Yes I Was. LOL. Why? The question that was asked was Ever you ever had to change your plans because of your spouses Farmville? Well I'm not married but I jumped on it anyway hehe and they loved me. Really if it wasn't for the fact that I hate my voice I would so do radio. ANYHOO. They askedme how many hours a day do I spend on FarmVille? oh 2-3 hours yesterday was a little more because I redid my farm. How old am I? hmm 29. lol. I told them how on saturday I miscalculated the time and was at the store when I realized my crops would be wilted. Dirk laughed and asked if I dropped everything and ran hom. no I didn't. I also told them that I don't plan my plans around my crops but I do plan my crops about my plans. I was the first caller. I also said that out of all my friends I am the highest level.

The next person to call in said that the people in his office are cordonated that one person will go and harvest everything and it gets going. CRAZY. lol

Sick as a Dog

The Small One got sick again saturday night and slept again in the bathroom. Then it hit me and I thought I was going to die. It hit us differently. It got so bad so quickly that I had my mom take me in. Because of my diet there's not much in liquid I can take and I didnt want to get dehydrated. I slept most of the day. Thankfully, it seemed by morning that The Small One was better but we ate little just in case. I was able to stay awake for about 5 hours today. I did lose 3 lbs in the process, I hope they can stay off. lol.

Basketball Tournament!!!

We won the second game today. 34 to 17. We creamed them. They made 2 nd place in thier divison. Tomorrow they have to be back for a game at 215 to determine if they 3rd or 4th place overall. Wish us luck.

P.S. The Small One is sleeping on the bathroom floor again. has puked 3 times tonight. grrr.

Vera Bradley

Just remembered I didn't do a review from the Start Fresh Event. Will do that when I get home tonight. Off to another basketball game.

Basketball Tournament!!!

Last night we lost 37-19 and today we just barely won 27-24. They have another game this afternoon at 4 and the team they play has not won yet. So we should win. We are going back a little bit before 2 to watch the 21 point- free throw game. 2 players from each team play in it. Tonight we are doing our weekly Ihop run. maybe. right now i'm making steak and broccoli and cheese for lunch. HMM it smells so good.

Kids'

House full of kids'. That's my house. There are 5 kids' here tonight. I watch kids' out of my house and have 3 more for the night. The 3 boys' are watching tv and the 2 girls are playing in the bedroom. Mine are being bossy and making me mad. I am going to go hide out in my room and I wish I wasn't lying. lol

Busy, Busy Day

Title says it all. Work all day in the classroom. Then The Big One starts a basketball tournament tonight. so we have to race over after school. Then come home, dinner and 3 kids' are spending the night so their parents can go out. Get up tomorrow and go to a game come home start taking down decorations and go back for another game. I will have all my decorations done this weekend lol. Right now must light match under the Boy's butt to get ready for school. GRRR.

My appt this morning!!

We left a little before 530 and got down there about 715 over an hour before the Appt. So we went to Bob Evans and chilled. I didn't lose as much weight as I wanted. Since Dec. 5th I have lost 16 lbs. I thought I had lost more but I'm still happy. They told me that they wanted to talk to me after the Appt.

During the Appt. we did an activity. My table had to come up with a meal from Wendy's that had all the food groups. 1 table had to come up with just a regular meal and the other reg meal but potion control. The first table meal came up to 1080 cals. that is crazy. The 2nd table came up with a meal of 480 cal. Our table's meal came up with 500 cals. The differance between potion control and ours was ours had less fat from cals. Theirs was 21 grams and ours was 9. It was crazy. Then the lady talked for a half hour about excerizing.

After the meeting I went and talked to M who has helped me alot since I switched to them. She told me some good news and bad news. The good news was I could sign this paper. The bad news they wanted me to come back on friday for 5 minutes to hear the doctor talk to me about the Risk of Procedure. My doctor was there and she was the one that had to sign it. I told them I couldn't do it. It takes me 5 hours round trip to go there. Was there any way another doctor could do it since I was already there. After some bitching and complaining on the nurses part I was able to wait and see a doctor then. When I mean wait it was over an hour. But it is done. M said she didn't care how last she was going to be but she was sending my paperwork to Insurance for Approval. I surely hope third time is a charm. I am ready to be done.

Prayers' Please!!!

Today at lunch at the local Lutheran High School. A 14 y/o boy stabbed a 17 y/o boy in the throat. The school was put on lockdown and all the kids' were released at at 130. The 14 y/o was taken into custody and the 17 y/o was taken to the hospital. He has had 1 surgery and will need 1 more but will be fine.

I am beat. I did not sleep well last night. 2-530 maybe. went to work left at 11 came home slept for 2 and a half hours hard. packed. went back to work. did bad on my diet. had a piece of pizza and chicken wings. in my defence (i am human lol) pizza hut wings are baked. lol. You can tell i'm tired by the way this is.

Tomorrow is crazy. I have to be in Indy by 830 so my mom and I are leaving at 530. come back head over to work. leave at 430 for The Big One's last home game. My friend The Lunch Lady is coming. Then after we are heading to a birthday party. crazy crazy day.

Vera Bradley!!!

If you have read for a while(have you?) you know my love for Vera Bradley, and I just happen to live in VB's home town. Once a year up to 50000 women and some men flock here to go to the outlet sale. My sis, niece and a friend are coming up and staying with me so we can all go.

Tomorrow and Thursday The VB stores are holding a Start Fresh Event . And I'm going. they are usually very generious and give out special products and theses events. My mom and I are going on Thursday and I can't wait. Are you going to go? What's your favorite color of Vera. This spring I am not thrilled about the colors will have to wait until summer/fall.

mutli-tasking at its finest!!!

Its 6:33am I have been up since 530 went to bed after 2 because I could not fall asleep. I didn't get up and exercise like I wanted Too tired will do it when we get home. I am only working until 1130 and coming home and taking a nap or I will not make it.

So on to the title of this post. I am writing this post, reading SITS Featured Blogger and comment(I'm really trying), and getting kids' up for school. Hehehe.

I think I have figured out where I want this blog to go. I want to do things with the kids' and blog about it. Just not sure how to go about it. We LOVE to travel and we live close to 2 theme parks and 3 major cities. There are endless possibilities.

Must go for now the kids' will not get up and there is 1 more post I want to write before we leave.

Is working on something for the Summer!!

I love traveling but I am a broke single mother of 2 boys'. During the summer I love to keep the boys' busy and myself as we love to travel. This past summer We were rewarded with being able to go to the Disneyworld with my Sister and her family. We had a blast for 7 days. Went to everypark and Downtown Disney 2 times.

I was born where we live but grow up in San Diego, Ca. I have been trying to get out there for a couple years to visit family and show the Boys' where I grew up. I would love to take them Disneyland(we went to Disneyland before we moved here but The Small One was 8 months and The Big One was 4), Legoland(they would LOVE it, since Legos are all over my house), The Zoo, Sea World. Taking them to Benihanas, Corvette Diner. La Posta. Man my mouth is watering lol.

Since I am having this surgery I don't think my family with regonize me. LOL. I could easily lose 75 to 100 lbs by the time we leave. So I am putting my toes in the water, just not sure how to do it? Anyone have any tips? I would Love to do a blogging trip.

The Small One is sick. won't leave the bathroom in fear that he won't make it back. No church for him or me, but The Big One is going.

Last night we went over to a friends' house and Wii-ed. the wife had never played before so it was fun. the husband took over as soon as we got there.

We were suppose to go to a friends' house tonight for dinner and games but with The Small One sick we are not going to make it.

I am going to grade and hopefully read some blogs today. I finally found a system to help me catch up. Hopefully. I am a month behind.

fail!!!!

I already ready failed. I didn't post yesterday. It was crazy. I worked all day then The Big One had another basketball game. They lost by 1 point. it was a nosy gym.

The weather is horrible. we have had 2 inches of snow since 730. schools are dismissing early but not ours. but i'm thinking of heading over there. There is still 2-3 hours of snow to go.

I didn't go to work today because I woke up with a migraine that meds didn't help. I came home and went back to sleep and woke up much. better.

Wish me luck I'm about to go try on my zip up jeans.

Wii Fit Plus was made by the devil himself. But today was not so bad.

The Big One has 2 basketball games today. GRR. at 415 and 530 and we have to stop by the store after. late dinner.

I didn't go to work today. I had to watch The Prince. He is getting so big and so flipping cute.

I feel very good. I got up at 6 and did my Monday routine. In a lot of pain. and I broke a new record on band rhythm. I Rock.

off to work with no lunch but will take breakfast.

Work/School

I have been trying to get a job at my boys' school nothing to big just an aid job. It would be about 2 and a half hours a day/5 days a week. When school let out on the 22nd Mrs. L said she would call over break and that it was good news and would be good for everyone. Well its 10:20pm and we go back to school tomorrow and I haven't heard anything. I have said before that I volunteer alot. We are talking from 830 to 6 everyday. I do it because I like and no matter what happens I am going to keep doing. My friend J works extended care in the afternoon's and she wants to work an aid spot(there are 2). She got a text tonight from Mrs. L asking if she could work from 9 to 1130 but we don't know for where because she had to say no. Is it asking too much to get paid for a little bit of what I do. I think I proved I am a very good work before school let out. I know she needs the money her 16 year old daughter just had a baby but I do too. The kids' as they grow older are getting expensive lol. I guess I will see what happens tomorrow. If I don't get the job it just shows once again that people must not really like me. I'm almost 30 still single never been asked to be married. Over vacation break 4 people I know got engaged now if that's now a stab in the damn heart.

Weight!!

Since this here is going to be a big year regarding my weight which I am very happy about. I thought I would post here. Right now I am on a No carb/No sugar diet. I thought it was going to be hard, it has and it hasn't. I am a chocolate person during that time of the month and not having any, well its amazing my kids' are still alive. On Dec. 4th me and my parents went down to Indy for an appt with the doc. She was really nice and we talked over my options. Because I live so far away and have over 150 lbs to live it was decided that I would have the Gastric instead of the Lap-Band. With the Lap-Band I would have to go down to at least once a month for a year. I don't mind going down there but I even that's a little much. So we came home and on Saturday My mom and I took out all the bad stuff that I couldn't eat and the kids' wouldn't eat. I gave 4 bags to church and my mom took 3. Yes 7 bags of crap. Then we went right over to to the store and got what I could. In the first week of doing it I lost 10 lbs. In the last 2 I have lost 6. I am still very happy because a birthday(The Small One turned 7 on the 14th) and Christmas have happened. Really all I'm aloud to eat is meat and veggies, so it getting hold fast. All my paperwork will be submitted on Monday and hopefully we will hear shortly and get this surgery on a roll. I started on July 27th,2008. I am ready for it to be done. So my starting weight was 274 and today yesterday I was 258. I have started working out. I do yoga and strenght Mondays', Wednesday's, and Friday's. On Tuesday's, Thursday's and the Weekend's I do step aerobics and some other stuff on the Wii. I already like how my clothe are fitting me.

The Big One and girls!! and New Years.

Yeah I am going to start this year off right lol. tattling on my son. The boy has my hormones. I am in BIG trouble. He likes girls ALOT. and its the older girls. He first "girlfriend" from 1st to 5th grade. Yeah it was a long one. When he was in 1st she was in forth. Now it doesn't seem so big of a difference but back then BIG difference. Now he has been talking to this sweet girl and she's in 7th and he's in 5th. I do check his email, he is only 10. I want to catch anything early on to deal with it. But geez louis. this school alone he has had 4 "girlfriends" enough already lol.

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL New years. I had baby boy but he slept most of the night. The Big One and The Small One both stayed up until almost 2. They toasted in the new year with Sparkling Cider. I am going to lay down. Baby Boy had me up at 830 after going to bed after 2.
